Rice (sona masoori): 1 cup
Urad Dal: 1 cup
Green chillies: 3
Coriander leaves
Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
Ginger: 1 inch
Oil
Salt
Ghee
Curry leaves
Onion: 1

1. Wash and soak rice and dal for 3 hours
2. Transfer to the mixer jar
3. Add green chili
4. Add cumin seeds
5. Add ginger
6. Add coriander leaves
7. Coarsely grind
8. Add water if required
9. Grind to slightly thicker than idly batter consistency
10. Add salt to taste
11. Add curry leaves
12. Add chopped onion
13. Mix well
14. Heat 1 TBSP ghee in a pan
15. Pour a portion, around 2 ladles of batter
16. Spread it with ladle
17. Cover & cook for around 10 minutes in medium heat
18. Flip once it is almost done, sides are crispy & top thickened
19. Cover & Cook for a few more minutes
20. It's ready
