Chicken: 500 g
coriander seeds: 3 TBSP

red chili powder: 1 tsp
cloves: 10
turmeric powder: a pinch
fish tamarind paste: 2 + 1 tsp
onion: 2 sliced thick
oil: 1 TBSP
garlic: 10 cloves
curry leaves:
green chili: 2+1 springs

1. Grind these to a coarse or fine mix: coriander seeds 3 TBSP, black peppercorns 1 TBSP, cumin seeds 1 1/2 tsp, mustard seeds 1 tsp, cinnamon sticks 1, red chili powder 1 tsp, cloves 10, turmeric powder a pinch
2. Take chicken pieces in a bowl
3. Make some cuts on large pieces
4. Add spice mix
5. Add salt
6. Add fish tamarind paste

7. Mix well, marinate
8. Heat 1 TBSP oil in a pan
9. Add thickly sliced onion 2
10. Sauté in high heat till onion turns translucent
11. Add crushed garlic 10 cloves
12. Add 2 green chilies slit
13. Add a spring of curry leaves
14. Mix well
15. Add chicken pieces
16. Mix well
17. Make chicken seared in all sides
18. Add just enough water to avoid masalas getting burned
19. Continue till the chicken is done
20. Transfer to a plate
21. Top with green chili, curry leaves and fish tamarind paste
22. It's ready
