coconut oil: 3 TBSP
mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
urad dal: 1/2 tsp
chana dal: 1/2 tsp
cumin seeds: a pinch
curry leaves:
green chili: 2
onion: 1
shallots: 6
asafoetida: a pinch
turmeric powder: a pinch
sambar powder: 1 tsp
pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
sugar: a pinch
lemon juice: 1/2 tsp
grated coconut: 1/2 cup

1. boil raw bananas for 5 minutes adding salt
2. take out - cool completely
3. remove skin and grate bananas
4. heat coconut oil 3 TBSP
5. splutter mustard seeds
6. add urad dal 1/2 tsp chana dal 1/2 tsp
6. add urad dal 1/2 tsp chana dal 1/2 tsp
7. add a pinch of cumin seeds
8. sauté till it turns light brown
9. add curry leaves
10. add green chili 2
11. add onion 1 chopped
12. add shallots 6 sliced
13. add a pinch of asafoetida powder
14. sauté till onion turns translucent
15. add grated banana and mix well
16. add salt to taste
17. add a pinch of turmeric powder
18. add sambar powder 1 tsp
19. add pepper powder 1/4 tsp
20. add a pinch of sugar (optional)
21. sprinkle some water if required
22. cover and cook for 5 minutes
23. let it cook well
24. add some lemon juice
25. add grated coconut 1/2 cup
26. mix well sauté for a minute
27. its ready
