Dried Tapioca: ¼ kg
Grated Coconut: 1 cup
Small Onions / Shallots: 6
Green chillies: 4
Cumin: 1 TBSP
Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
Meat Masala: 1 TBSP
Curry leaves
Dried chillies
Mustard
Coconut oil

1. Wash, clean dried tapioca and soak for 4-5 hours
2. Strain and add to a pressure cooker
3. Add enough water for cooking
4. Add salt to taste
5. Add turmeric powder: a pinch
6. Cook well, usually 1 whistle and wait till pressure goes off
7. Coarsely grind : Grated Coconut: 1 cup, Small Onions: 6, Green chillies: 2, Cumin: 1 TBSP, Turmeric powder: a pinch
8. Tapioca is cooked well, if not cook for more time
9. Strain water and transfer back to the cooker
10. Spread evenly
11. Add curry leaves
12. Add the ground mix on top
13. Add salt if required
14. Cover it and heat for 3 minutes in medium flame
15. Open and mix / mash well
16. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds
17. Add chopped small onions/shallots
18. Add dry chillies
19. Turn of the flame
20. Add curry leaves
21. Add meat masala: 1 TBSP
22. Add salt to taste if required
23. Heat, don’t burn
24. Add to the tapioca
25. Mix very well
26. We are done
